Save Two gliders have landed safely with no injuries south of Auckland, despite earlier reports of a light aircraft crash.
Emergency services were en route to the Mangatawhiri region, near Pukekohe, following reports of a plane crash.
However, there was "nothing to worry about", a St John Ambulance spokesman said.
It
appeared the incident involved two gliders, which had "a perfect landing", and there were no injuries, he said.
Police said two gliders from the Drury Gliding Club had to make a forced landing in farmland just before 4pm.
