Glider pilot still in intensive care

A Christchurch 14-year-old trainee pilot, Ryan Hodgkinson, who was injured when a glider spiralled to the ground, was still in a critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit at Waikato Hospital last night.

His instructor, Thomas Orr, 77, from Taupo, suffered two broken ankles and was recovering in a ward.
