A pilot has been killed after a motorised glider crashed northwest of Omarama in Otago tonight.
Rescue Coordination Centre spokesman James Sygrove said a witness, who was also gliding in the area, reported the crash at 6.20pm.
The pilot was later found dead at the scene in the Snowy Tops
