Drama erupted in the Waitakere District Court this afternoon when the man accused of stabbing Ronald Clayton Karipa in Glendene appeared.
The 23-year-old man appeared on one charge of murder this afternoon after being arrested today.
When he was brought into the courtroom from custody, the man pulled a gang
signal and acknowledged people in the public gallery.
Another group erupted, with one shouting profanities at the man.
His friends held him back as he was cautioned by the judge and a security officer.
