Week two of George Gwaze High Court trial in Christchurch gets underway today.
The 60 year old is charged with the murder and rape of his adopted daughter, Charlene Makaza, at the Gwaze family home in January 2007.
George Gwaze is defending the charges, with his defence counsel saying Charlene
Makaza died from toxic shock due to her HIV status.
The jury has so far heard from Gwaze's wife and four of his adult children during the first five days of evidence.
On Friday, teachers of Charlene and members of the Gwaze family's church also took the stand.
