A gas leak in Auckland late this morning is being plugged.
Emergency services were called to St Heliers Bay Rd just before 11.30am after a digger "ripped" a gas main, a Fire Service spokesman said.
"The gas company Vector is there sorting it out.
"We just made the area safe
It should be sorted before too long."
Three fire engines are on the scene.
