Gary McCormick welcomes twins

Television and radio personality Gary McCormick doubled his brood late last week after his wife gave birth to identical twin girls.

Florence Pearl Cottier McCormick and Kathleen Bridie Cottier McCormick were born two minutes apart about 1.35pm on Friday.

Cottier is a middle name.

"Just to let you know that we are now the enormously stunned and delighted parents of identical twin girls," McCormick and his wife Katherine Cottier said in a statement on More FM's website.

McCormick, 59, also has two adult daughters.
