Two Black Power gang members have been found guilty of intentionally injuring a man from a rival gang in a brawl in Napier's main street.
Black Power president Mundy Adams, aged 35, a boner, and fellow gang member O'Reginald John Hamilton, 37, both of Napier, had claimed they were defending themselves
against Mongrel Mob members Dale Keil and Sovite Sua in the fight, which was caught on film by a television cameraman attending a National Party conference this year.
A jury in the High Court at Napier found Adams and Hamilton guilty of intentionally injuring Mr Keil and not guilty of assaulting Mr Sua, or unlawful assembly on February 8.
Hamilton was remanded in custody for sentencing next month and Adams was remanded on bail.
