Further remand on drug shop raid charges

Ten Christchurch people arrested after the nationwide Switched On Gardener drug raids were further remanded following a hearing in Christchurch District Court today.

Facing a variety of mainly cannabis-related charges, they were due for a post-committal conference today. However, a further two week remand has been granted without them being committed for trial, the Christchurch Court News website reported

They face a total of more than 60 charges, and one faces two firearms charges.
