Further remand for accused bank robber

A man who allegedly robbed three Auckland banks while making no attempt to disguise himself was back in court today.

Andrew Springall, 35, appeared by video link from prison Auckland District court facing three charges of aggravated robbery.

He was further remanded in custody for a post-committal conference on March 23.

Springall was arrested after police inquiries into three armed robberies, all at National Bank branches in Auckland on a Friday.
