Chanel College hosting event full of carnival games and stalls If you're looking for something different to fill in an evening, then Chanel College students may have the event for you.
The school will host a games evening this month, as a general fundraiser for things such as the end-of-year camp and school ball.
The event will involve a variety of stalls and carnival games such as a ghost house, face painting, toffee apples, a jelly bean raffle, and a balloon stomp.
Year 13 student and organiser Tina Bruwer said games evenings were held in South Africa when she went to school there.
"Then when I came here I thought it might be a good idea to have one here as well," she said.
Tina said it was open to all and she hoped people would make the effort to come along.
So far, the public seems to be right on board.
"I've had a few parents saying that it seems quite cool," she said.
The games evening will be held on June 14 from 5pm-9pm at the Chanel College school hall. The prices for games will range from 50c to $2.50.
