Friends of a young Auckland man performed CPR on him after he collapsed from a peanut allergy.
The runner, in his 20s, was out exercising in the central city yesterday when he suffered a severe allergic reaction to peanuts.
He collapsed and his friends performed CPR on him while emergency
services rushed to the scene.
Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust attended the incident with its rapid response vehicle.
