Fourth Napier attack

A fourth attack in Napier over the weekend left a 35-year-old man in Hawkes Bay Regional Hospital with facial injuries.

It followed three other incidents in Napier since Friday - stretching police resources.

Detective Constable Mike Signal said the latest victim had been in a vehicle early yesterday morning.

"There's been a confrontation and he's gotten out to see what the story is and been given a beating."

The man had been kicked on the ground and suffered facial injuries.
