Four separate car accidents on the South-western motorway, within 4km of each other, happened this morning.
Police say one involved three cars the others were nose-to-tails.
One person has been taken to hospital but it's not known how serious their injuries are at this stage.
The accidents, South-west
bound, happened between Walmsley and Massey roads and police said traffic is flowing freely.
However, Newstalk ZB reported congestion at Hillsborough.
