Four people were taken to Wairarapa Hospital after a driver lost control of his vehicle at a pedestrian crossing in Lansdowne on Saturday, police say.
The driver crashed into the pedestrian crossing pole about 6.15pm.
Four people in the car received minor to moderate injuries and were taken to hospital
