Former Cook Islands PM kicked off plane

A former Cook Islands prime minister was removed from an Air New Zealand flight for saying he was a terrorist when boarding the plane.

Sir Geoffrey Henry was aboard a flight from Auckland to Noumea in New Caledonia when made the comment to one of the crew members, the href="http://www.cinews.co.ck/" target="_blank">Cook Island News reported today.

The pilot decided the comments were inappropriate and Sir Geoffrey was then removed from the plane and told to take a later flight.

Air New Zealand confirmed a passenger was removed from a flight but refused to name the culprit.
