Former chiropractor struck off

A former Nelson chiropractor struck off after having sex with two patients has at least 10 other complaints of misconduct against him.

Michael John Rudin was found guilty of professional misconduct by the Chiropractic Board, which said his behaviour was "abominable".

In one case, Rudin showed a patient some Tibetan yoga exercises to help her back and, during them, had sex with her.

The board said yesterday that it had received 12 complaints, which the Health and Disability Commissioner was investigating.
