Foo Fighters announce latest Australia and New Zealand tour, including two NZ dates

The Foo Fighters will be the first international act to play at Christchurch’s new One New Zealand Stadium.

The band will play Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide this November before heading to Perth, Auckland and Christchurch in January next year.

They will be the first international act to play at Christchurch’s new One NZ Stadium on January 19, supported by Dartz and Seek Help!.

The group will head north to play at Auckland’s Western Springs Stadium on January 22 with support from Dick Move and Ringlets.

The Spark customer presale will run for 48 hours, starting at 12pm on February 20.

Frontier Members presale will run 24 hours from Monday, February 23.

General sale tickets go on sale at 12pm on Wednesday, February 25, for both NZ shows.

The Foo Fighters last played at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland in January 2024.

Jack Black, who had been filming the Minecraft Movie in NZ at the time, gave the crowd attendees a surprise performance of AC/DC’s Big Balls.

During their 2011 Auckland show, the 50,000 fans created a “volcanic tremor”.

Concert vibrations were recorded at 3Hz, with the ground shaking three times per second in a regular rhythm.
