Fog delays flights at Christchurch Airport

Heavy fog is disrupting flights at Christchurch Airport this morning.

Airport communications manager Yvonne Densem said the airport is open however there are flight delays.

"There are quite a few people in the terminal and we are just waiting for a break in the fog so we can get some flights away," she said.

Ms Densem advised passengers to check with their airlines for flight updates.
