Florida hunt for NZ man

United States police are investigating the disappearance of a New Zealand man last seen at an airport in Florida more than a year ago.

Leonard Taku, 45,was last seen at Tampa International Airport.

On Christmas Day, 2005, he renewed a rental lease on a Chrysler Crossfire which was recently found in a wooded area near Little Lake George Wilderness, a wildlife rainforest park in Florida.

Mr Taku is about 182cm tall, about 86kg in weight and has tribal tattoos on his arms, legs and torso. His last known address was in Kent, England.
