Save Flooding fears are easing in Otago along with the rain after the Pomahaka River passed its first flood warning level.
However, MetService still has an active rain warning in force throughout Otago until 11pm tonight.
Regional Council staff are continuing to monitor the situation.
However, following heavy rain in the
Clutha District, Akatore Road in Taieri Mouth is closed.
And in the West Otago area the following roads are closed: Greenvale Road, Winslade Road, Wooded Hill Road, Ardmore Road and Paradise Flat Road.
