Flag options fly above Wellington Town Hall

Wellington City's Mayor is showing her support for a flag change by raising the five alternatives above the Wellington Town Hall.

The five options were hoisted alongside each other at midday today.

Mayor Celia Wade-Brown said it's good for the public to see the flags as they are meant to be presented.

She believed something was not quite right with the current flag, and she doesn't like how often it's confused with the Australian one, she said.
