Five people have been arrested following a huge brawl in Auckland overnight.

Police were called to a fracas outside a bar on Mt Albert Rd, understood to be near the Mt Eden end, about 2.30am today.

Up to 60 people were involved, a spokesman told the Herald.

"Police attended and broke up the fights and moved people on.''

There were no injuries reported.

However, several arrests were made at the scene.
