Fisherman's body recovered

The body of fisherman Wen Hai Wu, who was swept from Flat Rock at Muriwai on Sunday night, was recovered yesterday.

Surf lifesavers recovered the body about 5pm after friends of Mr Wu, 37, saw him floating near the rocks.

Alex, one of the men with Mr Wu that night, said the fisherman's friends and family wanted to thank the local community and people who had helped in the recovery.
