Firefighters respond to Parnell fire

Firefighters responding to reports of smoke at a multi-storey building are using thermal imaging cameras to find the source.

The Heinz-Watties building in Parnell was evacuated this afternoon after smoke was seen coming from the fourth floor.

Nine trucks were initially sent to the scene but the response to the incident has been downgraded with five appliances remaining.
