At least 25 firefighters are damping down after a big blaze at a warehouse in Bairds Rd Otara this afternoon.
It took some time to bring the fire under control after the alarm was raised just after 3pm.
Thirteen appliances were in attendance at the height of the blaze at
Hutamaki NZ.
The fire service says the blaze broke out in pallets of compacted cardboard in a warehouse.
