Firefighters have worked for nearly four hours to bring a Fonterra factory fire in Southland under control.
The fire broke out in a boiler room at Fonterra's Edendale factory about 11.30 last night.
When crews arrived the fire was "well-involved", a spokesman said.
Nine fire crews from Invercargill, Edendale, Winton
and Mataura fought the fire.
No injuries were reported.
