Gunshots have been fired in an incident in Palmerston North tonight.
A police central communications spokesman said Palmerston North police were dealing with a gunshot incident in Grey Street, in the central city, shortly after 7.30pm.
Reports a liquor store was involved could not be confirmed by NZPA.
