Firefighters have extinguished a large fire at a boiler-lining factory in South Auckland overnight.
Fire Service spokesperson Steve Smith said crews were called to Crow Refractory, on McLaughlins Road, Wiri, about 11.36pm.
The 50x25m single-storey building's fire was "well involved" by the time they arrived.
Mr Smith said at least
nine trucks were at the scene at the height of the blaze.
One remains at the scene on standby, he said.
