Fire crews battle house blaze in Bulls, near Palmerston North

Firefighters are working to control a fire that has engulfed a house near Palmerston North, in the central North Island.

Ten fire engines had rushed to the scene on Parewanui Rd, Bulls shortly after 1pm.

A central district fire and emergency spokeswoman said the house was well ablaze when crews arrived at the scene.

There were no reported injuries from the fire, the spokeswoman said.
