Fire crews at scene of possible fire in Wellington

Wellington fire fighters have extinguished a blaze originally thought to be in the Majestic Centre, Wellington's tallest building.

Fire and Emergency say the fire was actually in the wall of a building on the corner of Boulcott and Willis streets, which was hard to access, but it has now been extinguished

They say the fire had been elevated to a third alarm, with 10 appliances on scene as well as support vehicles.
