Save Fire crews are attending a fire at a hot chip factory in East Tamaki.
Fire service northern communications shift manager Jaron Phillips said seven crews were attending the fire at the Mr Chips factory in Kerwyn Ave.
The factory's sprinkler system had been activated after the fire started in fryers,
he said.
The fire service were alerted at 6.15am.
