On behalf of our client, an innovative design and manufacture company operating in both national and international markets, we are seeking to recruit a high calibre Finance & Commercial Manager. The position is based in Wanganui.
The successful applicant will be part of the Senior Management Team and providesupport to the stakeholders by: •Delivering Financial and Commercial information in a timely and accurate manner •Reviewing and analysing key financial and operational indicators to ensure the achievement of targets •Identifying, assessing and mitigating risk for the benefit of the organisation •Developing insightful analysis that will aid decision making and optimise profitability •Promoting and developing strategies towards continual improvement for business growth and performance •Working collaboratively with SMT to maximize business operations and improve efficiencies •Leading and developing the finance and administration team Essential Criteria •Experienced Senior Accountant •Relevant accounting and commercial experience (5+ years) •Experience in the manufacturing sector •Solid understanding of business, commercial practices and legislation •Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities •High level of IT knowledge and general business computer software •Strong communication skills both written and oral •Experienced in change management •Work positively within a team environment
Our client offers attractive remuneration package for the right candidate. CA qualification is preferable but not essential.
