Few to attend nationals

Wairarapa will only have scant representation at the national open outdoor bowls championships which will be staged in Auckland from December 29 to January 12.
Contesting the men's singles are Wes Pearce (Eketahuna), John Scott (Eketahuna), Brian Schischka (Carterton) and Graham Tindall (Masterton) while Robyn Schischka of Carterton is the sole Wairarapa entrant in the women's singles.
The men's pairs will see Pearce combine with Scott and Tindall combine with Schischka and Robyn Schischka will team up with Avril Suter of Henderson in the women's pairs.
