FEEDMILL OPERATOR

Inghams Enterprises (NZ) Pty Ltd, one of Australasia's leading intergrated poultry organisations, is seeking to employ a Feedmill Operator to join the team at our Feedmill located in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.

This position involves the operation of the plant and associated equipment for the production of feed. Duties will include loading and unloading bulk trucks, general maintenance and cleaning duties.

All work is carried out under strict quality and safety standards and on-the-job training will be provided to the successful applicant.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A strong mechanical aptitude;
- A current forklift licence;
- A flexible approach to hours of work, including availability to work rotating shift rosters and occasional weekend and public holiday work;
- A strong focus on health and safety and high quality standards;
- Good attention to detail;
- Excellent time management skills;
- The ability to work well in a team with minimal supervision; and
- Reliable transportation.

Good computer literacy, including strong excel, word and email skills, will be an advantage, as will a current forklift licence.

Previous experience in the milling industry or the associated grain industry or a manufacturing environment will be desirable.
