Fears held for missing hunter

Napier police fear for the safety of a deerstalker who has failed to return from a hunting trip.

The 35-year-old man was reported missing after not returning from a hunting trip in the Tataraakina block, about 60 kilometres north-west of Napier on Sunday.

Search and Rescue staff are continuing the search for the man whose name has not been released.

No further details were available.
