Farmworker trampled on by cow

A farmworker was airlifted to hospital with after being trampled on by a cow on a Taupo farm yesterday afternoon.

The Youthtown Trust Rescue Helicopter was called to the farm on Poihipi Rd to pick up the 35-year-old victim who had sustained multiple injuries.

He was treated by St John paramedics before being flown to Rotorua Hospital.

His condition was not known this morning.
