Farmer dies in quad bike crash in Bay of Plenty

Save A farmer has died in a quad bike crash on his property in the Bay of Plenty.
The 66-year-old man was discovered shortly before 6pm yesterday, at the farm on Waitaha Rd, Welcome Bay.
He died at the scene.
It was not yet known what caused the crash but it
was believed to have occurred at some stage yesterday, Tauranga Senior Sergeant Rob Glencross said.
WorkSafe New Zealand was investigating and the death has been referred to the coroner.
