An injured farm worker was flown to Wellington Hospital by rescue helicopter from South Wairarapa this morning after being struck by farm equipment.
The Wellington-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter, with a Wellington Free Ambulance paramedic onboard, responded to the incident at 07:30 this morning.
After being treated at the scene by the paramedic thepatient was flown to the Wellington Hospital Emergency Department where he is in a serious condition.
