A 67-year-old farm worker had been killed after a quad bike rolled onto him in Southland.
A colleague reported the crash on a farm near Tuatapere, about 82km northwest of Invercargill, about 2.30pm yesterday.
Police said the man died from injuries he received after the quad bike rolled onto him.
There were no suspicious circumstances and the death has been referred to the coroner.
Police and the Department of Labour were investigating.
