Family of dead toddler still being contacted

A toddler run over by a truck when his 2-year-old cousin playing inside released the handbrake is expected to be named today. The boy, also aged 2, died on Sunday in the driveway of the Te Atatu family home he shared with the cousin.

A police spokesman said next of kin were still being contacted. The boy lived with his extended family and was being cared for by teenagers at the time of the accident.
