A funeral for Auckland woman Heidi Welman-Scott, who was allegedly stabbed to death by her estranged husband, has been held this morning.
A funeral notice for Ms Welman-Scott described her as an amazing mother of Taryn and Keagen and a treasured daughter of Joy, who was "tragically taken" on November
27.
Her funeral was held at St Columba Presbyterian Church in Botany.
Following the service, mourners stood around the hearse outside the building for a final send-off and slowly filed past the coffin.
Brent Donovan Scott, 49, has been charged with murdering the 41-year-old and attempting to kill his stepdaughter Taryn Leigh Welman and her boyfriend Matija Miletic, both 22.
