Fallen tree, powerlines block road near Queenstown

A tree has fallen and power lines are down on Queenstown-Glenorchy Rd, leaving the road blocked in both directions.
The road is blocked at Bob's Cove, about 14km southwest of Queenstown.
Police said no diversions were available so motorists should avoid the area and delay travel for at least a
couple of hours.
Contractors are on the scene working to remove the tree and repair the power lines.
