Air New Zealand has put on extra flights to get rugby fans to the Super 14 final in Christchurch.
Group general manager, short haul airline, Norm Thompson said demand had surged after the Hurricanes' win over the Waratahs at the weekend.
The airline is also adding extra flights during the
week for early morning Auckland commuters to Wellington.
From July 10, it will introduce a 6am weekday service from Auckland to Wellington, and late night services from Wellington to Auckland.
