A 14-year old exchange student struck by a car after getting off the school bus is still fighting for his life a week later.
The family of JJ Jansom has flown from Thailand to be by his bedside.
He has been in a critical condition in intensive care at Christchurch
Hospital since the incident last Monday.
A family member posted on Facebook that the Lincoln High School teenager had moved his left hand and leg, Fairfax reported.
The family described it as a "miracle".
