WELL DONE: Nikki Burns, Trust House marketing manager (left), with Kalli Hooper from Paper Plus, the winner of WairarapaWon award for December.
This month's WairarapaWon winner is Kalli Hooper from Paper Plus.
The awards recognise exceptional service by individuals or businesses in the region.
The nominee said Ms Hooper provided exceptional service and kept her customers fully informed.
"After calling up and speaking to Kalli one day to see if Paper Plushad a book in stock, Kalli advised she would take a look as there was one showing in stock but she would go and find it and ring me back."
The customer expected a wait, but within 30 minutes there was a return call, saying the store would order it.
Receiving a Highly Commended WairarapaWon award was Olivia Lister, of New Image Hair Design.
Ms Lister was acknowledged for her service, her "super-friendly" attitude and making clients feel welcome.
Ms Lister's nominator was a mother on behalf of her 16-year-old daughter who noted they were treated with respect and always received a top quality experience at New Image Hair Design.
The awards are sponsored by Wairarapa Times-Age, Transit, Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce, EnZed, ANZ, Trust House, Destination Wairarapa, Tui HQ, More FM and Masterton District Council.
