Teenage murder accused Beauen Wallace-Loretz remains on the run for a fifth day after disconnecting his electronic monitoring anklet and fleeing from a bail address last Thursday.
Police today renewed their calls for Wallace-Loretz, 17, to turn himself in.
The teen was on electronic bail awaiting trial over the deathof 54-year-old Ihaia Gillman-Harrison on December 27 last year at Auckland's Ascot Epsom Motel.
But last Thursday, police were notified that he had disconnected his electronic monitoring anklet and absconded from an Avondale bail address shortly before 11pm.
Today, Detective Inspector Scott Beard said police were still appealing to Wallace-Loretz to hand himself in or make contact with his legal representatives to assist him.
Wallace-Loretz and murder co-accused Leonard Nattrass-Berquist - who is also on electronic bail - are also accused of robbing Mr Gillman-Harris of cash, a cellphone and bank card as well as unlawfully taking his $15,000 Range Rover.
