Engine failure causes emergency landing at Auckland airport

Save A New Zealand Post plane forced to land at Auckland airport early this morning had engine failure.
Fire crews were called to the tarmac at 12.45am following reports the Boeing 737's right engine was not working.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said there was no fire and the plane landed safely.
Crews were called as a precautionary measure, she said.
Auckland Airport spokeswoman Katie Moore said there were no passengers on the flight, and the pilot was unharmed.
