A goth writes: "The shootings at the high school in America were tragic, but I would like to say the way the media have portrayed the teenage killer is stereotypical. I'm a teenager whom the public would label a Goth, and now, thanks to the newspapers saying he was a Goth because he wore a black trenchcoat and was into Nazism, I have a close friend who is now not allowed to socialise with me. Because of the way I dress, her mother doesn't want her near me. Just because I dress differently doesn't mean I'm into fascism or Nazism. I'm actually against it. So I would just like to say, know me before you judge me. And anyone could have brought a gun to school, even if they looked 'normal'.
