Emergency services working to extricate elderly driver from car after crash into Briscoes

An elderly driver is trapped in their vehicle after they crashed into a Briscoes store in Christchurch.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Salisbury St at 2.48pm after the driver collided with the side of the store.
A police spokeswoman said all emergency services are
at the scene, with Fire and Emergency New Zealand staff working to free the driver.
It has been reported the driver has moderate injuries.
